Fake Impact Factor Journals List

Few journals put the logo of thomson reuters and put a text like indexing, going to be indexed etc. So be careful while publishing the journal in these journals. Few journals says they have journal impact factor. This Journal Impact Factor is provided by GISI and not Thomson Reuters

We came across some journals refer to http://www.ourglocal.com to tell their journal have impact factor. Its not true. So research scholars beware of this issue while submitting the manuscript to the journal.

1. Journal of Electromagnetic Analysis and Applications (JEMAA)

In this journal they have given the below message under this webpage http://www.scirp.org/Journal/Indexing.aspx?JournalID=29

There are 180 citations for articles published in JEMAA journal as of July, 2012 based on the statistics from Google Scholar. The Impact Factor(IF) is 1.15.

They also have mentioned that JEMAA has been tracked for Impact Factor by Thomson Reuters (ISI). The screenshot shows that the two articles is cited in a journal indexed in ISI. So it shows this journal article.

2. Visit the list of journals at http://ciitresearch.org/journals.html

They themselves have calculated the impact factor and says in their website saying that “Impact Factor Calculated using the strict Thompson ISI impact factor methodology from indexing.”

None of their journals is indexed in ISI, SCI and don’t have impact factor.

They have mentioned in their call for papers email the below text.
